Description:
STAIRLOCK is one of Australia’s leading staircase manufacturers, designing, producing, and installing stairs for the nation’s top builders. Our continued growth is driven by innovation, operational excellence, and a relentless commitment to being the builder’s partner of choice.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the National Delivery & Systems Performance Leader, you’ll work closely with 2 Operations Administrators in driving our national installation and delivery schedule across SA, VIC, and NSW.
This is a hands-on role where you’re in the thick of the action every day — the central conduit between builders, deliveries, and installations. You’ll partner closely with local and interstate Installation Managers, keeping all moving parts aligned and ensuring customers receive a smooth, seamless experience.
When everything comes together — the site is ready, the stairs arrive on time, the installer is booked, and the builder is happy — it’s genuinely rewarding to see the entire puzzle click into place.
You’ll perform daily and forward planning, confirm site readiness, coordinate delivery of stairs to site, keep installers and customers informed - coordinating people and logistics to achieve Delivery In Full, On Time (DIFOT).
Key Responsibilities
Schedule installation workflows to maximise daily revenue and efficiency
Work closely with Installation Supervisors and Managers, locally and interstate
Communicate installation schedules clearly to installers and customers
Coordinate with the factory to ensure Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries
Manage schedule adjustments proactively with installers and supervisors
Provide accurate 3-day forward install plans and track delivery performance
Contribute to continuous improvement - don't accept the status quo - always look for a better
About You
This role demands strong attention to detail, laser focus, and high-level organisational skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and enjoy delivering top-notch customer service. You’re cooperative, calm under pressure, and bring a problem-solving mindset to every challenge. You’ll enjoy this role if you like being the connector, the coordinator, and the person who keeps everything — and everyone — moving.
You bring:
Experience in scheduling/planning within construction, trades, logistics or manufacturing
Confident communication skills with the ability to influence and coordinate across teams
Strong problem-solving, prioritisation and process improvement capability
ERP experience (NetSuite advantageous) and solid Excel skills
High levels of organisation, commercial awareness, and a calm, solutions-first mindset
A leadership style that supports teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement
