Job Description:
As a Sustainability Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing tailored sustainability strategies for major clients. This includes planning, delivering, and implementing waste recovery and resource recovery projects, conducting site visits and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, preparing and presenting comprehensive waste management reports, and advising clients on best practices in waste management for improved efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sustainability strategies that meet client needs and expectations.
* Conduct site visits and engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Prepare and present comprehensive waste management reports to stakeholders.
* Advise clients on best practices in waste management and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in sustainability, waste management, or resource recovery, strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, self-motivation with a hands-on approach, knowledge of current sustainability trends and practices in residential, industrial, and health sectors, and a Certificate 3 in environmental science, sustainability, or related field (desired but not required).
