We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in a workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles, as well as performing routine checks to ensure fleet readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess a trade qualification as a mechanic and have experience working with late model vehicles, trucks, and machinery. Familiarity with hydraulics is also desirable.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop on a variety of light and heavy fleet equipment, as well as agricultural machinery. You will have the chance to take ownership of your work and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine checks and maintenance on vehicles to ensure fleet readiness.
* Repair and maintain vehicles, including hydraulic systems.
* Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical problems.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets safety guidelines.

Requirements:

* Trade qualification as a mechanic.
* Experience working with late model vehicles, trucks, and machinery.
* Familiarity with hydraulic systems (desirable).
* Current Victorian driver's license (truck license preferred).
* Current Forklift licence.
