**The Meat & Wine Co **are looking for experienced and dedicated **Bar Attendants **to become part of their professional and hard-working team.
Established in 2000, **The Meat & Wine Co** prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience. We have a unique atmosphere and ambiance which is dedicated to our African heritage whilst still having reference to Australian surroundings.
**Your duties will include**:
- cocktail making, dispense bar, spirits, tap beer and coffee making skills
- ability to recommend wines to guests and able to upsell through a large wine list
- Have a thorough understanding of our food & beverage menu with emphasis on steak & wine knowledge
- An understanding of bar procedures and processes, including stock takes, set-up and pack down and cleaning roster
- Contribute a positive influence to an innovative and vibrant team culture
**All applicants should have the following**:
- Proven experience within a large, high volume restaurant environment
- A current valid RSA certificate
- Advanced communication skills, both verbally and written
- Able to thrive under pressure and work within a large and busy restaurant
- Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
- A willingness to undergo further training
- Versatile availability over a 7 day rotating roster - looking for up to 20-38 hours per week
