Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-focused Plastics Process Technician to join our day shift production team.
Hours of Work
* Monday to Friday — 7:30am to 4:30pm
* Minimum 40-hour week
* Overtime available as required

About the Role
This hands-on role is responsible for setting, optimising, and maintaining both ISBM and Injection Moulding machinery. You will carry out mould and tool changes, complete full line changeovers, troubleshoot processing issues, and ensure efficient production performance while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, optimise, and maintain ISBM and Injection Moulding machinery
* Carry out mould changes, tool changes, and complete line changeovers
* Monitor and adjust processing parameters to maximise efficiency and quality
* Troubleshoot faults and minimise production downtime
* Ensure production output and quality targets are consistently achieved
* Perform routine maintenance and basic mechanical servicing
* Work closely with Technical, Maintenance, and Quality teams
* Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety
* Ensure plant cleanliness and hygiene meet HACCP food safety standards
About You
* Previous plastics processing experience (preferred but not essential)
* Experience with mould/tool changes and production line changeovers
* A sound understanding of polymer behaviour and processing conditions
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good communication and basic computer skills
* Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
* Flexibility with hours when required
* A Forklift Licence with F Endorsement (preferred — training available for the right candidate)
