Women’s and Children’s Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, North Adelaide 5006 Salary – AHP2, $91,785.00 - $106,330.00 12% Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Part Time 0.5FTE, Ongoing/Permanent Ongoing professional development support About the role The Consultation Liaison Psychologist delivers specialist clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health needs; providing clinical assessment and evidence‑based therapeutic care to children and young people with acute and/or ongoing medical issues. The Psychologist collaborates closely with medical and mental health colleagues across multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to quality improved patient care and staff support. This nuanced interface between medical and mental health care requires a range of specialist skills Key duties of the role Utilise clinical and therapeutic skills to assess and develop formulations for patients and their families Demonstrate competency in a range of evidence based therapeutic interventions Implement evidenced-based individual, family and/or other group therapies Undertake reliable and validated assessments Participate in partnerships to identify mental health needs in the community Skills and Experience Completion of Master’s Degree requirements within 6 months of commencement of position (Provisionally Registered).
