Senior Clinical Psychologist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at O'Connell Family Centre in Canterbury.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable families and young children, providing clinical supervision and support to staff members.
This is a fixed-term part-time position, working 40 hours per fortnight, Tuesday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The role involves assessing the psychological needs of families attending the centre, providing brief interventions, and liaising with referral sources and clients to ensure appropriate ongoing care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical supervision and support to staff members
* Assess the psychological needs of families attending the centre
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Requirements:
* Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or working towards endorsement
* A minimum of five years of professional experience as a fully registered Psychologist
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
