We are seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to support the Design department with admin tasks.
**THE ROLE**
As a **Design Coordinator**, you will be working with the Design Team to support them with administrative tasks for the design department across the Campbell Property Group in Queensland.
**To be successful for this role you'll need**:
- Experience in taking & distributing design meeting minutes from weekly team meetings
- Ensure proactive workflow control and reporting of the display home program
- Check construction drawings against displays product to ensure paperwork and documentation is in alignment
- Support the design team with the workflow and administration of new design projects
- Attend site meetings as required
- Coordination of sample ordering, supplier & vendor meetings, product updates/training
- Arrange Purchase orders and track budgets in spreadsheets
- Assist in the opening of display homes
- Documentation of display home products and materials into FF&E schedules
- Reviewing shop drawing to ensure alignment across construction documentation
- Have a Territory qualification in design OR have recently completed a Diploma Building Design
- Previous experience in a similar role, or a role working with materials/products/drawings on residential properties
- Some experience in the building or design industry in a selections-based role would be highly desirable
- Previous experience in the housing/construction industry
- Some prior administration experience and the ability to read and understand construction drawings
- You have a willingness to learn and desire to grow into an Interior Design or Building design role within 2-5 years.
- Has strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Is analytical, logical and systematic in their approach to tasks
You are team-focused, well presented, with a strong work ethic. You are a great communicator and listener who is proactive and not afraid to show initiative in a supportive environment. You can take complex ideas and turn them into design-based outcomes, communicating them clearly and articulately.
You are organised and task oriented with a high attention to detail. You are able to take responsibility for independently managing the tasks assigned to you as well as closely assisting the Design Manager.
