Australian Motors has a rare opportunity for an experienced and qualified Service Manager to join our Riverland team located in Berri.
This is a permanent, full-time position working a 5-day week with no weekend work. The successful applicant will enjoy a substantial retainer negotiable based on experience plus commissions together with a fully maintained company vehicle.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will lead our frontline service and workshop team to ensure our customers' expectations are being exceeded while focusing on the productivity, innovation, and efficiency required to achieve the KPIs of your department.
Key Responsibilities
* Building a high-performance culture that enhances every customer experience.
* Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of service technicians and service advisors to ensure optimal performance and growth.
* Ensuring all customer concerns are managed in a professional and responsible manner, ensuring positive outcomes and solutions;
* Striving for and maintaining a customer satisfaction index and manufacturer's satisfaction index that is in the top percentile for both South Australia and Nationally.
* Ensuring that your product and process knowledge is maintained. This relates to all products we market, as well as all systems and processes employed in our business;
* Manage department KPI's, P&L, metric target achievement, workshop output
* Compliance Management, ensuring Manufacturer Standards are met and exceeded
Required Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a dealership automotive role, preferably Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor
* Experience in leading and developing a positive and productive team
* Automotive mechanical knowledge
* Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure and tight timelines.
* Sound knowledge of dealership IT systems, Titan will be a distinct advantage
