Job Overview
As a skilled professional, you have the opportunity to expand your career with world-class training in the AUKUS partnership. You will undertake long-term training in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, U.S., and then return to Western Australia to manage maintenance activities on the United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure timely completion of production facility work.
* Oversee administrative support, ship/sub maintenance, and repair production support to guarantee compliance with requirements and specifications.
* Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute annual division budgets to support shipyard needs.
* Contribute to long-range planning for the department's overall objectives.
* Determine availability of manpower resources and facilities requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
* Hold a NV1 defence clearance.
* Prior experience within the defence sector is required.
* Proven ability to plan/manage/execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
* Hold a Cert III in Engineering or related trade qualification or a degree in engineering.
Training will be provided through a combination of on-the-job instruction and classroom training. This training program is conducted in accordance with company processes and procedures.
