**OVERVIEW**
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Executive and Project Support Officer to join their team. Within this role you will provide a range of high-level executive and secretariat support services to assist the Board and Executive to address the complexities of their roles and to achieve business objectives, including in the management of the office to ensure day-to-day management requirements are met.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Draft high quality written reports, project documentation and briefs.
- Manage the delivery, reporting and project outcomes of identified projects through structured planning, project management and relationship management.
- Manage the delivery of Divisional events and related culture activities.
- Manage and actively drive the flow and exchange of information between the organisaton and other members of the Executive, external stakeholders, other government agencies and the public.
- Coordinate reporting for Executive approval, including ministerials; Senate Estimates; Questions on Notice; and Divisional, Executive and Board reporting.
- Work with members of the Board, Executive and Corporate Support to ensure the quality provision of service and support to the Board, Executive and Senior Leadership.
- Provide responsive administrative support services to the Board and committees as required.
- Manage the diary travel arrangements and appointments.
- Manage purchase orders, corporate credit card reconciliation, remuneration remittance (e.g. travel, meals, bookings) in line with remuneration tribunal/contract conditions.
- Provide secretariat support to internal committees, reception support and share duties across the Executive Support team.
- Mentor other members of the Executive Support team, as required.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines and other resources that deliver business outcomes

- Work collaboratively as part of a high performing team/organisation, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and/or external stakeholders to deliver high quality business outcomes.
**EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS**
- Tertiary qualifications in administration, office management, business management or another relevant field are highly desirable.
- Executive support experience within a dynamic senior executive environment
- Demonstrated experience in, or understanding of, the provision of administrative support services to Committees and Boards.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, monitoring, maintaining and implementing information, records, policy and procedures.
- Experience in organising and managing travel, events, meetings and coordinating and undertaking projects.
- Experience in Office 365 or a similar digital operating environment.
- This position is required to travel domestically and/or internationally.
- This position requires/may require weekend work, or outside ordinary work hours.
