At Southern Cross Care Tasmania, we are more than an aged
care provider — we are a values-driven, not-for-profit organisation committed
to supporting older Tasmanians to live with dignity, connection and purpose.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution
Architect to join our IT team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the
technology foundations that support our people, residents, clients, and
operations across the organisation.
Contract: Maximum term, 2 years
About the Role
The Solution Architect provides enterprise-level technical
leadership for Southern Cross Care Tasmania's ICT Transformation Project.
This is a hands-on, influential role responsible for fixing critical ICT
foundations and uplifting our ERP applications, including integrated HR,
Payroll and Rostering systems.
Working closely with the Chief Information Officer, Project
Manager, Business Analysts, Process Architect, operational leaders, and
vendors, you will ensure systems function cohesively across clinical care,
back-office operations, and workforce management. Your work will support
compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, the new Aged Care Act, and

* Lead
technical aspects of vendor-managed implementations, challenging
recommendations to ensure alignment with organisational needs
* Establish
data governance frameworks, security architecture, and API strategies
* Collaborate
with operational leaders to design practical solutions and translate
complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders and the Board
* Support
change management, UAT coordination, training, and go-live activities
* Build
internal ICT capability through mentoring, documentation, and knowledge
transfer
* Identify
opportunities to leverage technology investments for broader digital
transformation outcomes

architect with a strong delivery focus, experienced in leading complex ICT
implementations in operationally critical and regulated environments. You

practical, business-focused solutions.
You will bring:

architecture and ICT delivery
* Proven
expertise in system integration, data governance, and fixing foundational
ICT deficiencies
* Strong
experience leading and supporting vendor-managed implementations in 24/7
operational environments
* Well-developed
