**The Role**
As the Credit Officer you will report to the Credit manager where you'll enjoy full support while having the autonomy to manage your responsibilities without micromanagement.
- Managing a busy ledger of 800-900 active accounts
- Processing credit card payment, EFT and cash banking
- Managing a busy AR In-box and solving queries throughout the day
- Customer service and investigating discrepancies promptly
- Review of the bank statements - holding and releasing orders
- Regular risk reviews
- Extensive reconciliation of customer accounts
- Reporting on numbers and disputes throughout the month
- Dealing with Mercantile agents where required
- Assisting with month end procedures and month end reporting
- Ability to reduce DSO's and manage your own ledger through effective collection
- Strong ERP skills
- Self-motivated with a robust work ethic
- Solid communication skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Able to work onsite 5 days per week
- Ability to work 8.00am to 4.30pm
