You'll provide a mix of face‐to‐face and Telehealth consultations, delivering safe, person‐centred, and evidence‐based care while maintaining compliance within the Aged Care Quality Standards. From managing communication and swallowing disorders and supporting residents to eat, drink and communicate safely and confidently, to working collaboratively with nursing staff, allied health professionals, hospitality teams and families to optimise mealtime safety, enhance quality of life, and promote meaningful engagement and connection.
Within your scope of practice, you will also support staff and resident education and help shape organisational improvements in policy and procedure.

The Role | What You'll Bring
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology, current registration with Speech Pathology Australia, with 3 years post‐graduate experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) framework.
* Strong ability to develop mealtime management plans and communication strategies.
* Demonstrated skills in education and training delivery to nursing, care and hospitality teams.
* Demonstrated knowledge in assessment and intervention for communication disorders and cognitive‐communication.
* Current driver's licence and ability to travel within Warrigal's services in the Illawarra, Southern Highlands and Canberra.
