The Position
The Senior Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in driving the success of our civil construction projects. Your leadership and attention to detail will help maintain safety, quality, and efficiency during all stages of the FRP process.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
* Plan and organize plant, labour, and materials for the project, ensuring efficient design and implementation of formwork systems.
* Oversee and monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work meets safety and quality standards, focusing on formwork integrity and performance during concrete pours.
* Maintain strong understanding of OH&S regulations and ensure compliance on-site, especially concerning formwork structures and safety protocols.
* Keep detailed daily records of site activities and progress.
* Interpret plans and technical drawings, focusing on formwork design specifications to ensure accurate implementation during construction.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Manage quality control processes and ensure that all work meets specifications.
* Assist in coordinating multiple teams across different projects as needed.
* Act as proactive problem solver with focus on innovation and efficiency.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Extensive experience as a Site Supervisor, particularly in FRP projects, with significant expertise in formwork design and systems.
* Certificate 3 in Civil Construction or equivalent qualification.
* Strong background in concrete, steel fixing, formwork, and earthworks, with hands-on experience in managing and overseeing formwork installation and operations.
* Proficient in implementing quality control measures.
* Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize daily tasks effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills with friendly and approachable demeanor.
* Team player who thrives in collaborative work environment.
