We're seeking a experiences Civil Drafter / Designer to join either our Sunshine Coast or Hervey Bay team in a full-time role. You'll work alongside a team of talented engineers and designers, contributing to a diverse and active project pipeline.
Success in this position means delivering accurate, efficient design solutions that align with project and client expectations, while fostering working relationships with internal teams, clients, and authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver civil design and drafting documentation across land development and/or transport infrastructure projects
* Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and design efficiency
* Undertake design and documentation using 12D and AutoCAD software
* Apply relevant Australian standards, local government requirements, and Austroads guidelines in design solutions
* Manage time effectively to handle multiple projects and deadlines
* Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and project outcomes
* Assisting with the development of construction documents/specifications and construction phase queries
What You'll Bring
* Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Associate Diploma)
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in civil design and drafting, ideally within a consultancy environment. More experienced persons may be considered for senior roles and are encouraged to apply.
* Proficiency in 12D (including Network Editor), AutoCAD, and civil design drawing production
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment
* Effective communication skills and a professional approach
* A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
