Job Title: Superintendent Open Cut Mining
We are currently seeking a Production Superintendent to join our opencut mine based at Coppabella Moorvale Mine Complex (CMJV).
* Set and demonstrate high Safety, Health and Environmental standards
* Provide strong leadership to drive a high-performance culture
* Oversee and coordinate the Dragline/ drill and blast activities of the Mining
* Collaborate with the Maintenance department to achieve the targets for the operation
* Accountable for reporting daily production data, coordination of end of month data, reconciliations, and monitoring production costs to ensure budgets are achieved
* Maintain Productive and Collaborative relationships with other disciplines
* Effectively forecast resource requirements to ensure future production targets are achieved
* Benchmark results, processes and strategies with other sites, across the industry
* Actively embrace Continuous Improvement strategies to procedures and processes that achieve advancements in Safety, Performance, Productivity and job satisfaction
This position is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah) DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane.

Requirements
* Certification as a Mining Supervisor and / or OCE
* Certificate or Degree in a Mining related discipline an advantage but not essential
* 3-5 Years experience in a Production Supervisor or Superintendent position preferably in an open cut coal mining environment, with Extensive Dragline experience
* Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to team leadership and foster the development of a positive safety culture
* Strong business improvement and forecasting/budgeting skills
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
