The Role
Responsibilities
* Develop and advise on engineering specification, selection, duty, installation and operational methodologies
* Provide advice on materials handling installations and plant performance elements
* Undertake detailed analysis and mechanical design to ensure safety, compliance, and constructability
* Assess the behaviour and performance of mechanical equipment under construction-stage, commissioning-stage and operating conditions
* Collaborate with engineers, designers, and consultants to deliver coordinated cost-effective solutions
* Produce and review technical reports, drawings, and design calculations for quality and accuracy
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other project stakeholders as required for the delivery of projects
* Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and actively participate in interdisciplinary workshops and risk assessments as required
* Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with the appropriate legislation, corporate requirements and systems
About You
* B.Eng or higher in Mechanical Engineering
* Relevant industry experience (3-5 years as a mechanical engineer post-graduation)
* Proven experience in developing practical, buildable solutions under site constraints
* Strong communication and coordination skills, particularly with site teams and contractors
* A proactive, hands‐on approach to solving engineering challenges
