Job Overview
Join AnglicareSA as a Youth Worker in the Launch 180, Supported Independent Living Services (SILS) program. You will provide individualized, flexible, strengths-based, youth-led case management to support young people in their journey toward independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide flexible, youth-centered case management that adapts to each young person's strengths and goals.
* Support young people transitioning from care as they take steps toward living independently.
* Develop practical support plans that celebrate and reflect each young person's culture, identity, and aspirations.
* Walk alongside young people on their unique journeys, supporting healing, growth, and self-discovery every step of the way.
* Build strong rapport by meeting young people where they are – in their homes and in the community.
Required Qualifications
* Experience in Youth Work, Social Work or a related field with an understanding of trauma-informed care.
* Proficiency in working with diverse communities and cultures.
* Knowledge of the Child Protection and Out of Home Care system.
* Proactive, people-focused, compassionate, and committed to empowering young people.
