Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
This position involves a variety of tasks including servicing and repairs, component change-outs, fault diagnosis and major engine/equipment overhauls.
* Servicing and Repairs:
o Perform routine maintenance and repair work on diesel engines, generators and other equipment.
* Component Change-Outs:
o Replace faulty components with new ones ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
* Fault Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:
o Identify and rectify mechanical and electronic engine system issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
* Major Engine/Equipment Overhauls:
o Perform comprehensive overhauls of diesel engines and equipment returning them to like-new condition.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer focus enthusiasm for learning and relevant trade qualifications. Previous experience in marine or earthmoving equipment servicing and diagnostics is highly desirable.
