Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be a central part of the team, responsible for coordinating and administering day-to-day operational functions. This includes investment administration, compliance support and client reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Daily administration of client investment portfolios.
- Coordinating and preparing client documentation, including KYC and investment paperwork.
- Managing workflow to ensure timely delivery of operational tasks.
- Preparing accurate reporting for client meetings and reviews.
- Supporting compliance and regulatory obligations, including drafting periodic reports.
- Liaising with fund managers, accountants, banks, and other external service providers.
- Management of execution of investments.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in investment operations within a family office or boutique wealth management firm. You will be detail-oriented, client-focused, and capable of balancing competing priorities.
Key skills and experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated understanding of investment processes for sophisticated investors.
- Broad knowledge of investment products and asset classes.
- Experience in investment reporting, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting/tax principles relating to investments.
- Understanding of AFSL compliance obligations (advantageous but not essential).
- Previous client-facing or service provider engagement experience (advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative approach.
