Insurance Property Assessor (Sunshine Coast/Gympie Based)

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking to bring a new Assessors on board to support our expanding portfolio.
Role: Assessor
As an Assessor, you will play a key role in inspecting works, estimating costs, and assessing building projects. While experience in insurance building is
not
required, a strong trade background and current QBCC license are essential. We will provide full training on our processes and systems.
You will work across a range of projects, liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure assessments are accurate, professional, and delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections to assess the scope of works required.
Prepare accurate, detailed, and well-structured reports and estimates.
Communicate effectively with clients, trades, and suppliers.
Ensure work meets quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
Manage your schedule to meet deadlines and client requirements.
Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
About You:
We are seeking a well-organised, professional, and self-motivated person with a strong trade background who is eager to learn and grow within the role.
You'll need:
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC).
Insurance building experience is
not
required — we will provide training.
