Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Unit Manager to lead our clinical team in providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire their team.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
* Develop and implement effective patient care plans that meet individual needs.
* Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through effective risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
* Manage staff performance, provide feedback and coaching, and develop training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current Registered Nurse division 1 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
* Relevant clinical management and leadership experience and/or qualifications or willingness to complete.
* Demonstrated leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing staff in a changing environment.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict.
* Demonstrated excellent and effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical services and manage change.
* Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture, articulate and achieve a vision for Community Nursing services.
* Demonstrate ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training.
* Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willingness to use for work purposes.
