About the role
Join our rapidly growing infrastructure team at the Port of Brisbane We're seeking four skilled Electricians to support exciting project growth at our fabrication workshop. Enjoy a 9-day fortnight and a strong focus on work-life balance.
You'll interpret technical drawings, build LV/ELV switchboards and cabinets, and collaborate with engineers to bring new designs to life. Flexibility is key—light fabrication, pump replacements, and potential field work offer variety and growth for the right candidate.
* Installation of electrical components on pumping packages, motors, solenoids, flowmeters and in house technology.
* working with FMS (fuel managements systems) training and upskilling provided
* Course's provided and up upskilling for future projects. Hazardous area, solar etc.
* Tools provides to each electrician and all specialized tools provided on site
* Candidates own work area, work bench in a clean and modern workshop with a good existing team
What IOR are Looking For:
We're expanding our infrastructure team and looking for experienced Electricians to join us at our Port of Brisbane fabrication workshop. This hands-on role offers variety, growth, and the chance to work on cutting-edge electrical builds in a supportive, safety-first environment. Tools and PPE provided.
* Assemble and install LV/ELV electrical components and switchboards with precision, following technical drawings and specs
* Build modular enclosures and circuit breakers, ensuring secure power and control cabling
* Wire and terminate electrical systems to meet Australian standards, with thorough testing and troubleshooting
* Maintain compliance with WHS and quality control processes, proactively resolving issues
* Support Apprentices and Trades Assistants while keeping documentation and workspace organised
