About the role:
This role provides a best practice approach to facilities management, being responsible for the technical and operational services management of Council's properties. It organises and monitors maintenance, activities and schedules within the specific budget and time. Facilitates the provision of cleaning contracts, trade services contracts, fire safety statements, security services & building operations.
What you will be doing:
• Develop maintenance and work schedules.
• Maintain building asset management databases.
• Manage and maintain council assets and/or infrastructure
• Provide administrative/general office support.
• Provide customer/client wellbeing support.
• Design and deliver minor projects.
• Prepare project management plans/Gantt charts and progress reports.
• Prepare scopes of works.
• Provide cleaning/trade SVS contracts, fire safety statements, security services and building ops.
• Provide design advice and represent Council's interests to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide infrastructure advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise works on Council's assets.
• Process invoices, credit notes payments & reconcile supplier statements.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Bachelor in Civil Engineering or similar and/or
2. Qualification in Facilities Management

Salary: Starting from $100K per annum + Superannuation
