A well-established and growing drilling contractor is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Driller to join our field team. We deliver high-quality geotechnical and exploration drilling services across civil infrastructure, mining, and major project sectors.

Locally based Driller applicants - Western Sydney and North West Sydney.
About the Role
As a Geotechnical Driller, you will work alongside experienced geotechnical engineers & engineering geologists on a variety of geotechnical and exploration projects. The role is hands-on and physically demanding, requiring reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Duties include:
* Daily Drill Rig setup and pack-up
* Conducting Drilling operations - Auger, Washbore, Conventional and Wireline Coring - DTH Hammer and Casing Advancers also required occasionally
* Testing and Sampling - SPT, U Tube, Piston and Mazier
* Handling drill rods, core barrels, and samples
* Mixing drilling fluids and managing site consumables
* Maintaining equipment and ensuring cleanliness of the work area
* Reporting to Geotechs and Geologists
* A primary focus on Safety
* Working on remote and regional projects as required.
What We're Looking For
* Reliable and hardworking - Role requires 5-6 days per week - Some roster work 10/4 & 14/7
* Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
* Construction White Card (essential)
* MR-HR Licence - Manual
* Cert 3-4 in Drilling Operations
* Previous geotech drilling, construction & mine site and general labour experience
* Health and Safety focused
* Ability to work long hours and travel when required
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
