TECHNICAL WRITER NORTH RYDE LOCATION GLOBAL COMPANY BOC supplies compressed and bulk gases, chemicals and equipment around the globe. The company develops safe, sustainable and innovative solutions for customers in many specialty sectors, heavy industry and medical environments. Purpose & Scope: Work with the business to develop high quality business process documentation for delivery via the company online document management system, in a timely and efficient manner. Provide advice and support to all levels of the business regarding the development and business implementation of a range of documentation (Policies, Standards, Work Instructions, etc.). Provide guidance on current systems, tools, documentation standards and ensure all documents comply with Global and RSP documentation standards. Technical Writing Provide high quality documents to the business, by: clearly identifying the document purpose, scope & target audience determining the most appropriate document type designing logical business process and document structures/hierarchies describing complex concepts/processes in clear, concise plain English using logical information flows and the most efficient information types providing high quality editing of documents ensuring appropriate document reviews and approvals are obtained managing the version control of documents publishing outputs into the current Document Management System Providing support to document content owners(e.g. Communities of Practice, subject matter experts, site or process managers) Support document content owners at all levels of the business by: providing guidance regarding documentation processes and standards and ensuring compliance providing guidance in information presentation/delivery analysing provided source material to identify process gaps and/or inconsistencies assisting document owners/Vocational Training Team in the preparation of learning material to support the implementation of new/updated documents assisting document owners develop implementation and communication strategies in relation to new/updated documents maintaining ToE 12 month rolling plans, highlighting actions not to plan and submitting quarterly updates maintaining business process Tables of Contents attending document owner meetings (as required) supporting pilot sites (as required) staying up to date with global documentation strategies/processes/tools The client is looking for the successful candidate to start immediately. This role will require at least 3 months in the North Ryde office and they a potential Hybrid opportunity will be offered.
