Supply Chain Coordinator Job

About the Role:
* This is a full-time position that requires the incumbent to manage material purchases, coordinate inventory levels, and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
* The successful candidate will have experience working with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) principles, inventory management systems, and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate master data for MRP controllers responsible for safety stocks, lead times, lot sizes, and lot size procedures.
2. Collaborate with procurement teams to review opportunities to reduce supply disruptions, lead times, and lot sizes.
3. Raise purchase orders (POs) or stock transfer orders (STOs) based on SAP required dates, confirm POs based on supplier feedback, and engage problem-solving related to service levels for production planners and first-line managers.
4. Ensure correct delivery dates on all open orders.
5. Work closely with market teams to ensure agreed-upon understandings of demand, including priorities, timelines, and customer requirements.
6. Report on reasons for on-time-in-full (OTIF) failures for purchased finished goods and provide input to S&OP meetings.
7. Investigate root cause analyses into the causes of materials being late or excessive inventory.
8. Maintain a development plan.
9. Adhere to standard work daily, monthly, and quarterly activities.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain coordination or a related field.
* Experience working with MRP principles, inventory management systems, and ERP software.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
* APICS certification is preferred.
