Due to growing project demand, we are seeking a Telecommunications Field Engineer to join our team in Perth.

Position: Telecommunications Field Engineer – Full-Time
Salary: $77,000 – $83,000 + Superannuation
About The Role
The Telecommunications Field Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting telecommunications systems and network infrastructure. This is a hands‐on field‐based role requiring technical expertise, problem‐solving ability, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and configure telecommunications equipment, cabling, and network components.
* Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements for network installations.
* Test and commission telecommunications systems to ensure functionality and performance.
* Diagnose and resolve faults in telecommunications networks and related infrastructure.
* Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades to ensure system reliability.
* Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and network diagrams.
* Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Liaise with clients and internal teams to coordinate installation and repair schedules.
* Provide technical support and advice during project implementation.
Skills & Experience
* Diploma/Advanced Diploma (or higher) in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in telecommunications installation, maintenance, or field engineering roles.
* Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cabling systems, and communication equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documentation.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work independently in field-based environments.
* Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
