About the Role
The Outreach Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing and implementing a range of on-campus and in-school activities to broaden access to higher education for students from regional and low socio-economic backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver outreach programs, including on-campus experiences, workshops, and presentations, designed to engage with students and promote higher education opportunities.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, faculties, and government agencies, to facilitate program delivery and partnerships.
* Supervise Outreach Program Officers, providing guidance and support in workload management and performance appraisals.
* Coordinate and oversee the administrative aspects of outreach activities, including communication, event planning, and budget management.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on program outcomes, using data to inform future program development and improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of Queensland secondary and tertiary education systems, as well as experience in project/event management and stakeholder engagement.
You will also have excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
A valid open driver's license and the ability to attain a Blue Card are also essential requirements for this position.
