Programmed Property Services are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Paint team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity in the Riverland, working out of our brand new Renmark office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established national business. To leverage a respected brand such as Programmed to drive sales and personal career goals. Key responsibilities are to provide new opportunities, awareness of our offering and the development of new national sales.
You will need to demonstrate experience in a similar national role. Be a strategic thinker and possess excellent communication skills. Your sales and bid process will be supported by national, state-based operations, marketing and bid writing teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide sales for the Riverland and Barossa Vally Paint teams.
* Nurture and strengthen relationships with new clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
* Utilize your sound sales history, in this sector, to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to potential customers.
* Prepare accurate sales estimates and develop professional proposals that showcase our offerings.
* Leverage your previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to effectively manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records.
About you
The role revolves around be proactive, selective targeting and building a pipeline with depth. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
* Previous experience in a sales driven role.
* Ideally, experience or understanding of the Paint (or another trade) industry
* Comfortable actively seeking out new business opportunities.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
