You will work across a range of complex and strategic corporate matters, advising founders, investors, and scale-ups throughout the business lifecycle; from structuring and governance through to M&A; and capital raising. The firm partners with US investors and companies entering the Australian market, offering a dynamic client base and meaningful, hands on experience.
This role offers both autonomy and support. You’ll collaborate closely with senior lawyers and partners who empower their team to take ownership, think strategically, and grow their own practice in line with the firm’s long term vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate structuring, governance, M&A;, and capital raising matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, investors, and scale-ups
- Manage the full carriage of matters with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Contribute to business development, networking, and strategic growth initiatives
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and partners on firm wide projects and client strategies
Candidate Requirements
- Open to candidates with 3-5 years PQE who are ready to take the next step in their career, or those more senior seeking pathways to partnership
- Strong experience in corporate/commercial law, particularly with scale-ups or investment work
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Team player who values collaboration and long-term growth
