Join our supportive team at MED1 Clinic Kilmore as a Medical Receptionist, combining front-of-house service with light clinical room-support duties. This role is perfect for someone organised, friendly, and passionate about creating a great experience for patients and doctors.
About the Role
You'll be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow, excellent customer service, and well-prepared consultation rooms. No clinical procedures are required — just strong organisation, attention to detail, and a willingness to help.
Key Responsibilities Front-of-House
* Greet patients and manage check-ins, appointments, payments and enquiries.
* Handle calls, emails, Medicare claims and general reception duties.
* Maintain a calm, clean and professional reception area.
Administration
* Keep office supplies topped up (paper, staplers, sticky tape, printer ink).
* Scan, file, and manage patient documents with accuracy.
* Assist with recalls, reminders, data entry and patient follow-ups.
Consult Room Setup (Non-Clinical Support)
Prepare doctors' rooms at the start and end of each day by ensuring:
* Gloves, sample containers, tongue depressors and basic consumables are stocked.
* Equipment is available and in working order (stethoscope, otoscope, ophthalmoscope, oximeter).
* Lights, blinds, bed paper, printer, and computer are ready for use.
* General, recycling and doctor's bins are correctly placed and emptied when required.
