Responsibilities
Designing sub-division projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and road design using advanced software.
Conducting site visits to assess conditions and determine design parameters.
Preparing and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and reports.
Providing guidance to junior engineers and liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Attending site meetings and offering technical support to clients and contractor
Your next employer is a well-established multidisciplinary firm specializing in surveying, civil engineering, and project management. They offer the chance to work on diverse projects ranging from residential subdivisions to large-scale community developments, all while utilizing cutting-edge technology and eco-sensitive designs.
Your team has Civil Engineers to undertake in-house road and stormwater drainage designs, water reticulation design and sewer reticulation designs for Council / Certifier construction approval. In addition they also undertake stormwater strategies for DA's, Erosion and Sediment Control Plans and Traffic Control Plans. As a consulting Civil Engineer you'll will follow these projects from conceptual DA to detailed construction approval, through to project management, contract supervision during the course of the civil construction.
Qualifications
Experience in civil engineering, particularly in subdivision design.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience liaising with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
Experience with road, stormwater drainage, water, and sewer reticulation design for council approval.
A diploma in civil engineering / design would also be acceptable provided you have the experience and knowledge
