About the role This role will primarily support restocking and loaning of equipment, as well as maintaining and supplying consumables under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Additionally, the role will support the Registered Nurse in conducting regular audits to monitor and enhance patient and staff safety by ensuring that equipment meets current safety and manufacturing standards.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and undertake delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
Contribute to the effective functioning of STARS Equipment, Advice and Loan Service in the provision of safe quality care.
Work collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
Undertake, and participate in ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
