**Join Our Team at Terminus Apartments Newcastle!**
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join the team at Terminus Apartments Newcastle as Hotel Receptionists. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. You will work closely with an awesome and supportive team, all committed to delivering fantastic guest experiences. Your contribution will be key in creating lasting, positive impressions and ensuring our guests have memorable stays.
**Positions Available**:
- **Permanent Part-Time**: One position, 4-5 days per week.
- **Casual**: One position, 2-3 days per week.
Both positions require full availability to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, with a particular emphasis on weekend availability.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Hotel Receptionist, you'll be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including:
- **Accommodation services**: Processing reservations, checking guests in and out, handling guest enquiries and requests, and ensuring all guests are warmly welcomed throughout their stay.
- **Front desk management**: Ensuring that the front desk runs smoothly and efficiently. Providing administrative support to our management team.
- **Guest services**: Anticipate guest needs and deliver prompt, efficient, and polished service when responding to guest requests.
- **Team communication**: Effectively communicate and liaise with all departments, particularly housekeeping, and understand the importance of teamwork within hotel operations.
- **Issue resolution**: Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- **Facility knowledge**: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and promotions to effectively assist and inform guests.
**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- **Experience**: In customer service and/or hotel reception.
- **Communication skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Passion for hospitality**: A genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.

Pay: $26.12 - $39.17 per hour
