About the Company
For more than 25 years, Watermark has been a trusted name in Queensland's insurance construction industry, delivering high‑quality repairs to homes and property across the state. We specialise in repairing domestic and commercial properties affected by insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact, and malicious damage.
Our work is about more than buildings – it is about supporting people through some of their most stressful moments and leaving them feeling heard, respected, and confident in the outcome.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor based in the Greater Brisbane region to join our team. This is a remote role with strong support from our Sunshine Coast head office and wider project team.
You will take ownership of the construction phase for a portfolio of insurance repair projects – reviewing the scope of works, confirming building methodology and allocating the right trades and contractors. Working closely with our project management and administration teams, our clients, and broad contractor network, you will ensure each job is set up to run smoothly, safely and on budget.
This role will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in getting the details right and values long‑term relationships with clients, customers, trades, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service on-site and via phone and email to customers, clients, trades, and suppliers.
* Manage all allocated projects from pre-start through to completion, both on and off-site, for your region.
* Function as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding trade allocation, scheduling, construction methodology and quality completion.
* Monitor budgets and cost control on every assigned file, ensuring work is delivered within approved limits.
* Allocate, coordinate and supervise trades and subcontractors, supporting them to meet quality and KPI requirements.
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reporting within our job management system.
Because our work is closely tied to weather and major insurable events, occasional travel is required during peak periods of storm or catastrophic events.
What We Are Looking For
* A collaborative work style – you are a team player who builds positive relationships with clients, trades, customers, and colleagues.
* Effective communication and people skills, with a relaxed, conversational approach that puts people at ease during stressful situations.
* Solid, hands‑on residential building knowledge (renovation/repair background ideal) and a broad understanding of housing styles, materials, and finishes.
* Background as an Estimator, Builder or Supervisor, with relevant trade qualifications (QBCC Site Supervision license required).
* Proven ability to work independently, organise your workload and manage multiple jobs concurrently.
* Confidence with computers and mobile technology; experience with PRIME (Prime Ecosystem) or similar job‑management systems is an advantage.
We are looking for someone with a strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality and the ability to turn jobs around efficiently without cutting corners.
Why Join Watermark?
* Be part of a stable, reputable business with more than two decades of continuous operation.
* Work in a values‑driven environment where quality, integrity and looking after people genuinely matter.
* Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely in the Greater Brisbane area, with strong support from an experienced team.
* Play a meaningful role in helping our customers recover from unexpected events and feel proud of the outcomes you deliver.
If you are an experienced construction professional who wants to combine technical expertise with people‑focused service, we would love to hear from you.
