About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and organised Student Support & Administration Officer to join our Brisbane campus team. In this full-time, on-site role you will be the first point of contact for students, providing high-quality administrative support and ensuring a positive experience throughout the student lifecycle from enrolment through to graduation.
Key responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for student enquiries, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic support in person, via email, and by phone
* Process enrolments, course variations, withdrawals, and student records accurately within relevant systems
* Coordinate and support student orientation, events, and campus activities
* Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with privacy legislation and institutional policies
* Liaise with academic staff, student services teams, and external agencies to resolve student issues and elevate complex cases where appropriate
* Assist with scheduling, timetabling, room bookings, and general campus administrative duties
* Prepare correspondence, reports, and administrative documentation as required
* Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and student experience initiatives
About you
* Full working rights in Australia (no restrictions) – mandatory requirement
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a student services, administration, or customer-facing support role
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and professional manner
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy campus environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn student management systems (e.g. Meshed, or similar)
* High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
* A genuine passion for supporting students and contributing to a positive campus culture
Desirable
* Experience working in a tertiary education in Australia
* Understanding of ESOS Act, TEQSA standards, or CRICOS obligations
* An undergraduate qualification or above in business administration, student services, or a related field
* Experience supporting students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
