We manage the ICT platforms and systems that support the department’s core operations. Our team ensures these platforms are secure, scalable, and designed for long-term sustainability. We support innovation through DevOps practices and modern testing approaches, enabling faster and more reliable delivery of digital solutions. From Information Management to ERP Systems, and Web and Collaboration systems, we provide the digital foundation that helps staff work efficiently and deliver services that support the department.
As the M365 Collaboration Analyst, you will play a key hands-on role supporting and improving the department’s Microsoft 365 collaboration environment. Working closely with experienced team members, you will help support platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Copilot, contribute to service improvements, and assist in delivering practical solutions for users across the department. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and working collaboratively in a supportive technical team.

As the M365 Collaboration Analyst, you will:
* provide technical support, problem solving, advice and training to users of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Copilot
* assist with monitoring service dashboards and task queues, supporting the timely resolution of service requests and incidents
* contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, user guidance and administrative documentation
* support continuous improvement activities across collaboration platforms to improve reliability, usability and user experience
* work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support the delivery of small projects and enhancements, including testing and implementation
* share knowledge with team members and contribute to a positive team culture that supports learning and capability development
Please note that the merit pool established through this selection process, which is valid for a period of eighteen months from the date the vacancy was advertised in the Public Service Gazette, may also be used to fill future ongoing vacancies in the branch where the duties are of a similar nature.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Demonstrated experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and/or Copilot.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to investigate issues, identify opportunities, and propose practical solutions.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes in a service delivery environment.
* Clear and confident communicator, able to explain technical concepts in plain English to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
* Works collaboratively, shares knowledge, seeks feedback, and demonstrates initiative, resilience and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
