AAA Panels is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join its Pakenham workshop on a full-time basis. The role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing light motor vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Australian safety standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, identifying mechanical and electrical faults, and completing repairs to a high standard. This position suits a reliable mechanic who can work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and contribute positively to a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on light vehicles
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
* Repair or replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and exhaust components
* Conduct vehicle inspections and road testing to confirm safety and performance
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and parts used
* Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements
Skills and Experience
* Minimum two years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic
* Experience working on light motor vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and attention to detail
