This Victorian government agency is the official insurer for third-party personal liability in road accidents. They are looking to hire an IDAM Specialist for a long-term contract assignment.
Your new role
* Provide technical leadership across identity and access management (IDAM) solutions.
* Design, build, implement, and support IDAM services across complex enterprise environments.
* Lead the development and enhancement of identity integrations for internal users and trusted third parties.
* Participate in troubleshooting and restoring critical business services related to IDAM technologies.
* Contribute to solution design reviews and ensure alignment with best practices and internal standards.
* Develop documentation to support ongoing maintenance and operational readiness.
* Assist in project scoping, effort estimation, and architectural input for IDAM components.
* Work within recognised control frameworks (NIST, ISO) and ensure compliance across solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
As an IDAM expert, you'll be expected to demonstrate strong collaboration, adaptability, curiosity, and critical thinking. You'll also need:
* Extensive experience in contemporary identity solutions such as: NetIQ Identity Manager, NetIQ Access Manager, One Identity, Okta, Entra / Azure AD
* Strong background in IAM integrations, including PowerShell scripting, LDIF, and bulk user provisioning.
* Experience with Privileged Access Management tools (e.g., CyberArk, Entra PIM).
* Solid understanding of RBAC, MFA, conditional access, and PAM principles.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
* Strong analytical, conceptual, and lateral‐thinking skills.
* Excellent organisational abilities with a focus on detail and deadlines.
