We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our team in Belmont, WA.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure state-wide. This includes:
* Understanding scope of works on build drawings and site survey findings.
* Installing and maintaining WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies.
* Installing radio base stations, terminating Hybriflex Cables and Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, and combiners.
* Upgrading or installing DC power rack systems including rectifiers, batteries, and load testing.
* Configuring and capturing status for Hand Over Packs (HOP's).
* Commissioning and integrating RBS into the network.
* Conducting PIM, VSWR, and sweep and fibre testing.
* Troubleshooting, replacing defective equipment, and monitoring site performance.
* Installing and commissioning microwave indoor and outdoor units.
* Software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Tertiary qualification in Telecommunications or Engineering science, electronics, or microprocessors.
* Equivalent experience as a telecommunications technician if no qualification is held.
* Experience in installation, commissioning, and testing of Nokia and/or Ericsson equipment.
* Current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket; First Aid and CPR.
* Construction White Card.
* Full Manual Driver's Licence.
* Radhaz RF EME Awareness; Telstra, NBN, Vodafone, Optus 3G/4G experience will be highly regarded.
* Able to work away from home if required.
