About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to teach and mentor our Bachelor of Community Services students. If you have a passion for community services and education, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, Counselling, or related fields, as well as a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in the human welfare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lecturing and teaching Bachelor of Community Services students.
2. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
3. Teaching lecture and tutorial classes.
4. Engaging in teaching evaluations, maintaining professional development, and pursuing new teaching methodologies and strategies.
5. Providing timely, comprehensive marking and feedback to students on all unit learning outcomes.
6. Identifying and monitoring students who are at risk of failing and organizing necessary student support efforts.
7. Responding to student queries in a timely manner.
8. Maintaining high professional and ethical conduct, including high standards of self-management, resilience, and collaborative behaviors.
