Solo Resource Recovery is a 100% Australian owned and operated industrial services and waste management company. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled full‐time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic based in our workshop in Dandenong, VIC.
The successful candidate will work directly for the Workshop Foreman on a fleet of heavy waste vehicles, performing tasks such as:
* General mechanical work
* Welding
* Major and minor repairs
* Breakdown repairs
* Scheduled maintenance
The ideal applicant will possess:
* Trade certification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical
* Current rigid truck driver's licence
* Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Occupational Health & Safety
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics or welding is an advantage, as is a forklift licence
* Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
