We are seeking an experienced Communications Officer for an initial 6-month contract with possible extension in Fremantle and Kwinana, WA.
Rate: $64.93 per hour plus Super (flat rate)
Commencement: ASAP (notice periods considered)
Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Fremantle & Kwinana, WA (minimum 1 days per week in Kwinana)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Duties & Responsibilities
* The Communications Officer will work across our clients' divisions to support internal and external communication projects. Key duties include:
* Develop and execute strategies for communicating initiatives and projects to employees and stakeholders.
* Research, write, and deliver internal communication materials while assisting managers and supervisors in effective communication.
* Support the delivery of communication training.
* Liaise with various departments to gather information for publications and contribute to communication initiatives.
* Plan and execute communication activities as per strategic schedules.
* Capture photographs and video content for use in communication materials.
* Perform other communication-related tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
* Tertiary or industry qualification in a relevant field.
* Proven experience in developing and executing project communication strategies, including on-ground activities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint.
Desirable:
* Experience in an operational environment.
