Role Description
This full-time on-site Component Maintenance Technician role is based in Sunshine Coast, QLD. Responsibilities include performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, and overhaul of aircraft components such as hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine systems. Diagnosing faults, conducting functional and safety tests, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards are key tasks. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals while maintaining a high standard of safety and precision in all tasks.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in repairing and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine components
* Skills in performing inspections, certification, and calibration of aircraft instruments and avionics
* Understanding of safety compliance and regulatory standards within the aviation sector
* Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults in mechanical systems
* Attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
* Experience or certification in MRO tasks and component repair is highly desirable
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Current CASA, EASA, or equivalent certification/license for maintenance operations preferred
