You'll build strong, trusted relationships with managers and employees, spending regular time on our construction sites to stay connected and provide practical, informed advice.This is a fixed term 13-month contract and will be based out of our Melbourne HQ reporting to the regional Senior HR Manager. Ad hoc travel to South Australia is required.This role plays an important part in supporting the Enterprise Agreement, data insights and people outcomes. Working closely with our managers you'll provide guidance on performance management, workplace matters, investigations and policy interpretation. You'll also help support our internal mentoring program, co‐lead the Jump Start program, and contribute to remuneration and reward activities, as well as talent and succession planning. Working alongside the Senior HR Manager and the regional HR team, you'll help deliver high‐quality cyclical HR processes, including practical and engaging mid‐year and end‐of‐year training that builds leaders' confidence in supporting their teams' development.We're looking for someone who enjoys being a visible presence on site, managing employee matters and investigations with professionalism and care, and who brings genuine enthusiasm for people and HR. You'll bring tertiary qualifications in HR (or a related field), solid generalist experience, strong HRIS capability (we use Workday), and the confidence to influence and challenge respectfully when needed.
