Position Summary
Performs or directs maintenance and repairs related to Boiler Plant Operations, Water Chemistry, and Steam Production, requiring knowledge of hospital plant operations.
Responsibilities
* Maintain records and cost computations for work performed.
* Manage inventory and recommend purchases.
* Assist in boiler equipment maintenance programs.
* Assign tasks, oversee contractors, and train technicians.
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations.
* Lead preparations for State Boiler Inspections.
* Support plant operations as needed.
* Local travel required.
* Follow safety policies and participate in quality initiatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED; relevant experience or education equivalent.
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in maintenance or trade school certification; hospital plant experience preferred. Must complete and renew Boiler Operator Certification annually.
Licensure: Valid Tennessee driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record.
