The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for an experienced .NET Developer to join our Sydney team. You'll be responsible for integrating HTML templates, developing .NET components in Optimizely & services for bespoke and CMS driven web applications. You'll be an expert in implementing content management, application functionality and integration requirements while working within an agile development process.
Working closely with the delivery team and applying industry best practices, you will ensure that all code developed is well architected, clean, consistent, and accurate ensuring that implementation meets in the definition of done.
* 2-3 years of specific experience in developing Optimizely Content
* Management Solutions orother .Net CMS (Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico)
* 5+ years design and development of building public facing commercial .NET applications
* Structured and secure REST APIs based on WebAPI
* Azure SQL and MS SQL Server
* Entity Framework and IoC such as Autofac or StructureMap
* Solid understanding of web standards and technologies (HTTP,
* Mentoring fellow developers
* A champion of good coding standards and design principles
Highly Desirable Skills
* Optimizely CMS Developer certification is highly desired
* Development of CMS-driven web applications based on Optimizely/EPiServer, Umbraco, SiteCore or Kentico
* Experience with Atlassian suite including JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket and Bamboo
* Digital marketing agency experience
* Experience of e-commerce application development
What You Can Bring
* Solid knowledge of industry best practices and experience on SDLC, software design patterns, Gitflow, peer-review, development methodologies such as Agile / Scrum and iterative-waterfall, coding / accessibility standards, effective documentation and producing maintainable code
* Excellent experience and skills in architecting enterprise level applications, using SOLID principles, separation of concerns and domain driven design.
* Solid experience in continuous Integration and automated deployment, using build scripts, preferable using Bamboo.
* Great communication and leadership skills, strong team player with a friendly and professional attitude
* Solid experience designing a wide range of solutions and leading a team of developers during implementation
* Build relationship and provide expert guidance to clients, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and translating these requirements into actionable development tasks.
* Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, ideally with a digital agency
