The Role
They are now seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. Broadly, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising and training all front of house employees
* Preparing and maintaining weekly rosters for front of house staff
* Managing daily takings and financial records
* Taking reservations, greeting customers and handling customer enquiries and complaints
* Liaising with kitchen staff in relation to menu and stock control
* Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
* Planning and organising special functions, entertainment, and live music as required
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* A relevant Diploma in Hospitality or Business, plus 3 years' experience in a similar role; or no less than three years' experience in a similar role, in lieu of a formal qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
* Demonstrated strong customer focus
